Rothwell Lions Club was formed over 35 years ago to serve the
local community in any way possible. It was originally a male only
club but is now a mixed club with 26 members.
Our club is part of "Lions Clubs International" with over 44,000 clubs
and 1.2 million members throughout the world.
PART OF THE LARGEST SERVICEWe organise various fund raising events such as our Annual Duck Race, a fantastic Santa Sleigh, community Bonfire, sponsored walks
(including the canal walk) Oh! and our latest!!!
The Wild Boar Challenge. 50km off road bike ride (and the 15km fun ride) We also take part in community events such as May Day and
summer carnivals.
ORGANISATION IN THE WORLDOver the years we have helped and made donations to so many
high profile, worthy causes but we take great pleasure and pride in quietly helping individuals who often come to us with burdens that
no one should carry alone - our motto is WE SERVE
